Rocky's Story...
Hi, my name is Rocky. I am 3 years old and don’t let my size let you think any less, you see I was the smallest in my litter, I still have all those quirky Dane traits. I love to play and I have lots of energy, I like dogs of all sizes and would love to have a home where there is a playmate around my size that I can play tug-o-war and wrestle with. Some of my most favorite activities are going on car rides, playing with my foster brother, and getting treats.
I know how to use the doggie door and I am crate trained. My foster mom says I am very good boy but still needing a little help with some stuff. I am looking for a forever family that is able to give me lots of love and in return I will love them back unconditionally.
Adoption fee $425

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky, a Mesa Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Mesa, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
