My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, Rio here! I have finished my career as a professional athlete. Ahhh...retirement to Washington state is going to be great. I'm in the market for a house and family. They call me friendly and outgoing, kind of a "people pleaser".

I don't mind a crate and I sure do love stuffed toys! Be sure you have a budget for my stuffies, hehe.

If you're my forever family you'll need to keep an eye on me around small dogs. And let's just skip the cats, they remind me of squeaky toys.

Give me a chance to show you just how much I will melt your heart. If you'd like to meet me email an application to info@royalhounds.org. Applications can be found at the bottom of this web page -http://www.royalhounds.org/adopt.html

Foster Home Update: He's an inquisitive guy who loves to go on walks and explore the area. When he's walking, he likes scratching himself on the bushes he walks by. He has lots of fun with his toys inside and outside the home. He also has taken an interest in television after he saw a video of his foster brother on it. Now he is alert when he hears other dogs on the TV. Once he saw someone drop a ball on tv, and he started looking around the room below the tv for it. Rio is a friendly, outgoing "people pleaser."
