My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can not get any cuddlier than this sweet girl! Kara is deceptively small, only about 30lbs. She gives the best hugs, endless kisses and wants nothing more than to lay in your lap and be loved. Kara loves to play, and she plays rough. So other dogs will have to be tolerant and a bit submissive. As rescuers, we know there are a lot of misconceptions about this breed and we constantly seek to educate adopters. Kara could not be more loving, and we hope her future home will see her for the amazingly sweet dog she is. Her foster mama is able to take treats and toys away from her, place her hand in the food bowl while she is eating, and pick her up, all without a fuss from Kara. She may protect her food with other dogs (but what dog isnt), and she will stick up for herself but never seeks out conflict. She listens well, is crate trained and house trained, and can sit on command. She is young and has a lot of energy, but has so much love to give. Since she plays a little rough, a home with older children is recommended, as well as a fenced in yard. Help find our little Supergirl the perfect furever home.

If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application located at
https://dogsunlimited.wufoo.com/forms/adoption-application-for-dogs-unlimited-rescue/

All Dogs Unlimited Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on all shots, and are given a monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Upon adoption, all vet records and any current medications are provided to the adopter.

THE SUBMISSION OF YOUR APPLICATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE AN ADOPTION NOR DOES IT OBLIGATE YOU TO ADOPT. Multiple applications are accepted for any available pet and a home is chosen that is the best match between the available pet and the potential furever family. Your application will be processed as quickly as possible and if approved, a home visit would be scheduled. No adoption is final until an Adoption Agreement is presented and agreed to by both parties.

Our goal is to find the right match of our dogs to their new family so all involved are furever happy! Questions: email adopt@dogsunlimitedrescue.org

And THANK YOU for considering a rescue dog for your family!
