He is a sweet, loyal dog, who still has his puppy energy and loves to play. He will always want to be active and needs a family who wants the love and companionship of a smart dog who will totally belong to them. He is house trained and socialized, knows his basic commands and walks well on leash. He loves car rides and putting his head out the window. He loves empty water jugs he can toss in the air and catch or roll on his back with and juggle. He loves wading in a doggie pool and being sprayed with a hose, maybe not at the same time, but then again, he is quite the goofball to watch and will keep you endlessly entertained.
Bruce needs a home with no children under 12 and no small animals as he does have prey drive. He needs a home where he is part of the family and has plenty of love and attention as well as activity. Twice daily walks or jogs and maybe bicycling him until he ages a bit and mellows out. He would love camping, desert excursions, trips to the beach or mountain trails. Will you be his companion and show him the ropes?
Most of our dogs are in foster care in San Diego County so if you would like to meet Bruce, please complete an adoption or foster application on our website below and someone will get back to you within 24 hours.
