BUTTERS's Story...
Butters ( assuming named after South Park) is about 2 years old, up to date on shots, and neutered. He is a bit behind on his obedience training, but is a smart boy and learns pretty quickly. His family took him to a vet's office for boarding 3 months ago and never returned. He sat there and waited patiently for 3 months for them to return but they never did. He was then surrendered to us. He is fairly new for us and we are still getting to know him. He has a lot of energy, but I am sure that is stored energy for the past 3 months while he sat in a small kennel with little exercise. He LOVES to run and jump and play. He looks so happy now that he has an actual yard he can run in. We have not tested him with cats or other dogs yet, but when we do we expect that he will do well. He did live with a family with children for a short time and it was reported that he did well with the kids. I would say that he would do better with older kids, because he may knock toddlers over. We have not seen any aggression from him, other than barking at landscapers in his yard.If you have a little time to invest in this handsome boy, you will have an amazing new best friend! He is special. Please fill out our adoption questionnaire located under the forms tab on www.rottenrottie.com if you would like to meet Butters.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BUTTERS, a Gilbert Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
