Kiko's breed should be Bat-terrier. If Batman were a tiny dog, he'd been sleek and stealthy just like Kiko.
This sweet boy is cuddly and affectionate once he gets comfortable with his new human ladies. He is fairly fearful of men, though, and it may take him a bit longer to warm up to males. Once he is there, he loves to prance at his person's feet and lick toes. He becomes a little shadow, following his humans around the house.
Kiko hops like a bunny when he's excited, especially in the mornings when he's so happy to see his person and is so ready for breakfast. He loves being petted and wants it to go on forever.
Kiko loves playing with his squeaky soft toys, and likes playing chase in the back yard with his foster dog buddies. He gets along well enough with other dogs, but just doesn't want to share his food, toys or people with them.
This loyal boy walks well on his leash and loves going for long walks. He sleeps in his crate and comes when called.
Because he's still fearful of strangers, Kiko will do best in an adult-only home with low foot traffic. He just wants a permanent lap to sit on, feet to follow forever and snuggles to sleep with. If you can make his wishes come true, drive your Batmobile to meet Kiko.
And remember, all APA adoptions come with free behavior assistance through APA's behavior team. And when you adopt a dog from APA, you are saving not one, but two lives - the life of the dog you're bringing into your home, and the next dog APA can save in the adopted dog's place.
