Opie's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Opie's Story...
Say hiiiii to Opie, boxer pit mix, about 7 months old and around 40 lbs, neutered, chipped and vaccinated. Such a great, sweet little dog, we think may have been mistreated in past(flinches and gets scared some times but he's getting better with lots of love) . He's great with cats, dogs and he loves women, kids are unknown but I don't see why he wouldn't love them! Knows how to use the doggy door, does well being crated when we leave, loves to play with his toys! He must be adopted to a home with a woman in the house, and with other dogs (since he looooves to play with other dogs so much).. Adoptable through Res-Que email Summer for more details or to meet Opie, summerdawnwhitehead@gmail.com or feel free to call/text her at 775-230-9308..

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Opie, a Reno Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Reno, or seeking a Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Reno.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Reno already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Reno breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Reno paves the way for another one to be saved.
