Luca is a shar pei mix that has a tough story to tell but he is leaving that past behind for a new life as a pei people boy. He is a bit timid but friendly once he warms up.
He will have his cherry eye repaired prior to adoption by a local ophthalmologist. He is excited to see without pain! His surgery is now scheduled for July 15th.
He leave squeaky balls. He rides well in a car but clearly has not spent much time in a car and he walks great on a leash but loud noises scare him.
He is crate trained. Great with other dogs. He was not house trained but with a couple days of work in a foster home he is fully house trained. He has the sweetest funniest personality. He does a little dance when his foster mom comes home. He will bark if someone comes to the door otherwise he is quite as a church mouse.
Luca update 8/29 This guy is probably much younger than we initially thought. The puppy luca is coming out more and more everyday. He can be a little mischievous but will keep you laughing! He will have his Left eye touched up in the middle of September but is otherwise doing great from an eye standpoint. He will be evaluated with cats but does show some interest so will need a good cat intro.
You won't be disappointed if you take a chance on this boy and give him the forever home he deserves. He is available at www.peipeople.com
