This 1.5 yr old mix is unbelievably sweet, playful and SO eager to please she will melt your heart. Looking for a playmate for your other dog? She's a dream come true for any dog looking for a playful companion!
Maggie is shy and timid initially---she does take a couple of days to settle in and warm up. But then she becomes a goofy, carefree, and playful girl! Maggie has become somewhat dog selective, so we think she will do best as an only dog.
Maggie is super smart, and eager to please. Because she is timid, she does take some warming up when doing training, while her trust builds up. But she likes to learn new things, and is food motivated. She's already housebroken and crate trained.
She likes her bones and balls, and any other toys you have to entertain her. She is very good at self-amusement. She is not destructive, is easy going, and is mild mannered.
Maggie is great with kids!! She is not good with cats, however, so she needs a feline free home. She's doing well on a leash, but is not a fan of the car. She is working on her doggy door training as well, but has had no accidents in the house and should continue to do just fine as far as housebreaking even with no doggy door.
