Gemma is a loving girl who had lots of tough times before becoming a Proverbs' girl. She was homeless roamed the streets and depended on the kindness of strangers for food. When not claimed she became one of our rescues and off to the vet she went. She has mammary tumors as well as an ovarian tumor all of which were removed when we had her spayed. We are thrilled to say, all were benign and she now has a clean bill of health.
Her fosters say she is a joy! She rides well in a car, loves all people, gets along great with other dogs and loves romping and playing with them. Gemma is also starting to come out of her shell. She has decided to be my shadow, which is completely okay with me. She is finally warming up to belly rubs and will sit and give you her paw on command. You can tell she was someone's pet before, she has great house manners. She has become part of the pack at our house and loves to run and play, she is even the fastest.
** NO CATS ** Also must be SLOWLY introduced to new dogs. Better yet ~ Gemma would be your one and only!!!
She is a jewel and deserves an exceptional home.
