Dear Fur-evers!I may be small but I have a HUGE heart and I can't wait to meet you. Foster Mom says that good things come in tiny packages and that's exactly what I am. I'm extra tiny because I have a condition called myosotis (can be acute or chronic). It's very manageable and all I require is a bit of medicine once a day. And there are some perks that come with it. I can't really jump up on things. However I'm great at using the doggie stairs and LOVE to snuggle with you on the sofa.
My name is HARLEY and I'm a dashing, smooth coated, black 'n tan purebred dachshund. I'm eight years young and I am neutered and up to date on all my shots! I know... all that in one tiny little wiener dog is hard to imagine. Life has been pretty awesome since DRLA came into my life... I have a great foster family and an awesome foster mom who keeps telling me she knows I will find the perfect forever family.
I like to play but don't need a ton of exercise. I would be fantastic in a home with a retired family and do great with other pups my size. I'm very attuned to you and have that "sixth sense" if you are feeling down, happy or sad. And I LOVE to cheer people up. I'm very mannerly and am completely potty trained.
Foster Mom says I will know when I meet the right "forevers" because they will love me for who I am. And you know what, that's exactly how I feel. I can't wait to love you for who you are. And also... if you wanted to treat me like a prince I wouldn't complain.
Won't you take me home with you?
