Willie's Story...
Willie is a 2 year old Beagle/Hound mix. We don't know his age for sure but that is a best guess by the vet. He was found as a stray out in the country. Poor Willie must have been running for some time because he was very thin and covered in fleas.
Now this guy is doing great in his foster home. He gets along with the other dogs there, likes to play, loves to go out and explore the fenced in back yard but is also very happy to snuggle on your lap. He is an absolute sweetheart. He is doing great with housetraining, just keep an eye on him and let him out frequently. He doesn't mind going in a crate, especially if he gets a treat for going in! He loves to go for walks but needs a little work with the leash. He loves everyone! His tail doesn't stop wagging! If you would like to make this guy a part of your family, please email

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Willie, a Ashville Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Ashville, or seeking a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Ashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
