My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*****ADOPTION PENDING*****

Kriss the cutest pup is ready for a home.

Meet Kriss. This wonderful little boy is searching for a forever home. Kriss has a sweet gentle and affectionate personality. With his charming looks and big dark eyes this little fella manages to steal the hearts of everybody he meets. Kriss wants to be right with you whatever you’re doing. He keeps his foster mama company around the house weather doing a load of laundry or curled up on the couch together to watch TV. This is one special pup who will make a wonderful companion for some very lucky family.

Kriss is a 8 pound pure breed maltese. He is around 6 years old. Kriss house trained, create trained and loves to go for walks. He gets along very well with his doggy foster brother and sisters. He can be a bit reserved when meeting a stranger for the first time but is quick to warm up after a couple of minutes. He is eager to please his people and love to be held.
To prepare for his adoption, Kriss been neutered, given all age appropriate vaccinations. His teeth have just been cleaned and he has even been micro chipped. He is heart worm negative and is on heartworm and flea prevention. Per our vet’s evaluation, this little guy is in great health. His adoption fee is $250.00

We do our best to place our fosters in the right type of environment to suit their needs. With this goal in mind, Kriss will not be placed in a home with children under the age of 8. Kriss’s new home must have a fenced in back yard and a current vet reference is required. Kriss is very social and has mild separation anxiety, he does not do well by himself for long periods of time. We will be taking this into consideration when picking the right home for him. Kriss’s breed needs regular grooming, his new family must be willing to commit to this. Adopters with at least one current, small breed pup living in the home are strongly preferred and will be given preference. We will not adopt to any home with an unfixed dog or cat present.

***** FCDF performs a home visit and inspection with the perspective animal. No out of state/ area adoption are possible. A current vet reference is required. *****
