Kiwi's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

So on National Dog Day, we went to the Stafford shelter to pull a dog. We have never been able to pull just one and this time wasn't any different. We pulled 3. They were used as hunting dogs and were very scared in the shelter. We just couldn't leave them there, so we brought them home. They are now crate trained and we're working on leash manners and house manners. Honestly, we don't think these pups have ever been in a house before. They are gradually coming out of their shells and enjoying the company of people. We got them their shots and spayed and they are now ready for their forever home.

We will be at the Potomac Mills PetSmart located at 13337 Worth Avenue, Woodbridge VA 22192 on Sundays from 1230 - 330. We look forward to meeting you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kiwi, a Woodbridge Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer for sale in Woodbridge, or seeking a Pointer dog from a breeder in Woodbridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Woodbridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Woodbridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer breeders who help with Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Woodbridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
