Meet Callie, the newest Duck Dog! Callie was found by her Good Samaritan with an injured eye and a mass on her head so her GS reached out to us and asked for help. We couldn't say no to such a sweet face so we got her to our wonderful vet right away. Our vet was able to drain the fluid that was causing the mass but was not able to save her eye; the infection was so severe her eye had to be removed. Fast forward 3 weeks later and Callie is now up to date on all her shots, spayed and recovering from her surgery just fine.
Although Callie is small, weighing in at only 18 pounds, we believe she is a cattle dog / terrier type mix. Our vet approximated her age to be just about 9 months old. Callie's foster mom and dad report that she is crate trained, 90% potty trained, likes playing with toys, loves other dogs and people and is pretty much perfect! If you would like to meet this sweet girl, please email email@example.com or complete an adoption application at http://duckteam6.org/adoption-application/ Callie's adoption fee is $200.
