Kovu & Petey- Adoption Pending's Story...
“Kovu” is an orange tabby male, about 5 months old. He arrived at a public shelter as a stray. This boy is a goofball who likes rough play! He loves snuggles too, but he’s one of those kittens who just can’t sit still for very long ! He is VERY active and VERY confident with a personality that is larger than life! He’d be a hoot in any home....but needs a similarly active young feline companion who likes to run, wrestle and chase! Once he settles down, he will curl up in your lap. Meet him in Wash. DC foster home. Posted 8/30/16 Update 9/13/16-Kovu has closely bonded with another foster kitten named "Kuvo".. they do everything together and they even groom each other daily. They are seeking a home where they can remain together...twice the fun, twice the love!. Meet them in their Falls Church, VA foster home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kovu & Petey- Adoption Pending, a Arlington Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
