This sturdy little dude is a 2.5 year old Chihuahua mix. He can keep up and is very playful with bigger dogs. He can get along with a smaller pal, but when it comes to snuggle time, he wants you all to himself. He'll growl at the other dogs to let them know, especially the little ones that may threaten his "spot!" He is fully house trained and loves to run outdoors. He eats his meals well and doesn't seem to be food aggressive. He can stay in or out of a kennel, but may bark if caged with you nearby. He has done very well and has not chewed up anything when left out. He will greet you at the door and jump up at your knees like he hasn't seen you in a week! He wants nothing more than to be by your side or sit on your chest/lap. He will lay next to your feet in a comfy bed while you work and even sleep on the floor beside your bed as long as he has a soft spot too. If you are looking for a little companion that will give you unconditional love and keep you warm this winter, RIDDLER'S your answer. (Take precaution with cats/young children.)

About Second Chance Animal Sanctuary

About Our Rescue Group...

For 25 years Second Chance Animal Sanctuary has been working to help homeless dogs and cats find their way into safe, permanent and loving homes. We promote animal welfare by providing rescue, proper veterinary care, and adoption for abandoned animals in Oklahoma.

Every animal has a story and many of those stories are heart-breaking, but in every case there is a common theme: an animal that deserves a second chance at life.

When you adopt, not only do you save the life of one animal, but it frees up critical space so that we can rescue a second pet. And of course, the life that is yours.

Our hours of operation are: Wed - Fri 12-6pm, Sat 10am-5pm and Sun 12-5pm. We are closed Mon & Tues.

Phone: (405) 321-1915

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption fee is $125. All animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and kept on monthly flea/tick/ heartworm prevention. Dogs have been heartworm and tick disease tested and cats are fiv/fel leuk negative. We do require an adoption survey and signed contract for any adoption.
