My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm Ross. I will have better pics later once I get back from prison. I'm teachin the guys how to train dogs. I was hangin out in this place where they had a bunch of other dogs. I sure hope they got outa there OK. My pen pal, Wendy, saw me & asked BBCR to help me. She sponsored me to help with my vet bills. I hope I get to meet her someday. She lives way far away with her Border Collies. I like people & I'm very affectionate. I'm always checkin in with my foster mom to see if I can rest my head on her lap to get some pets & luvins. I am a bit bossy with other dogs sometimes. I need a strong handler who will make me mind. I like to test the waters! I have very high prey drive. So, cats should not live with me. I am very loyal & grateful. If you want to have a really smart & trained dog to be your best friend, you better get your application in cause I'm gonna be done here with my job pretty soon.

Our adoption process helps a homeless Border Collie find a forever home while enriching your life with a special new family member! We would love to answer questions about a particular Border Collie, but we need to know some information also!

Our process includes:

Buckeye BC Rescue Home Page

2. Meeting with a BBCR volunteer in your home.

3. Discussing potential dogs and setting up an adoption visit.

4. Adopting a great Border Collie that is suited for your environment and needs!

Please be patient! This process does take some time!

Our Border Collies listed on our website are just a representative sample of the dogs BBCR has
in its program at this time. Some may still be in the evaluation process and not posted yet. If you are interested in adopting a Border Collie from BBCR and don't see the dog that interests you, please fill out
an application.

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on preventative. There is no facility that is open with set hours. Our Border Collies are fostered in our homes where they are evaluated for general health and temperament. Our fee is usually $220 - $250 (may be higher in certain
