Patrick was rescued from SE Dallas Crawford Park where he lived with a big pack of homeless dogs. His face was torn up and infected when he was rescued. His foster mom nursed him back to health both physically and emotionally.
He is such a well behaved dog, though you could tell he had never experienced kindness before. Patrick has been apart of Dallas DogRRR for a little over a year. Much of that time was in rehabilitation.
He has the best manners and loves other dogs a children. However, he does not like cats. (I don't blame him!) His foster summed it up best: "Patrick is a lover, a goof ball, and a gentle old soul... Even through his worse days when he was in pain, confused and sad; he did not grumble, growl, or nip. He patiently sat there and soaked in the gentle touch. We will never know his story but he bares no grudge. He greets everyone with his wiggly tail and doggy grin." Patrick DESERVES a forever home. If you don't think you're the right fit, please help us find someone who is. Share his photo, send his pictures to friends! We love this big boy to pieces and so will his forever family.
