Special home requirements or medical:
Additional info: Archer went into the shelter as a stray. He was extremely scared upon intake, but has really opened up and will now approach people and give kisses. He is high energy, very vocal and loves attention. Beware. Archer is an extreme kisser!!! He can bark a little when put into his crate but it doesn't last long. He can be aggressive with certain dogs and he does pull on the leash. He also tends to mark a lot. Can be very pushy with people for attention. We do not recommend him for a home with small kids as he may jump up for kisses and knock them over. He may not be the best apartment dog due to his barking; he alarm barks at certain strangers approaching. Disclaimer: although Archer is generally good with people and letting them pet him, he did nip a stranger when he was leashed He would need an experienced owner who is skilled at introducing dogs to strangers. We can also help with providing this knowledge.
