Lucky's Story...
****URGENT**** Courtesy Posting

Looking for a good home for Lucky. He is a Walker Tree Hound mix, maybe a little Lab in him. Lucky is 6 years old. He weighed 35 pounds when I rescued him but weighs 50 now. He is fully vetted, microchipped and has already gone through the pre-treatment for heart worm therapy. A heartworm treatment plan is part of Lucky's adoption. He has been great with my super active 2 year old grandson. He knows his commands (sit, shake, lay down, etc.). Lucky would benefit from a family that is home more that I can be at home. He wants to be part of a family! A family with a farm, a hunter or a family that will keep him indoors and only out on a leash because Lucky likes to escape. Lucky is super lovable!! Due to family issues, Lucky is being boarded at Heritage Animal Hospital. Please call (281) 482-2003 or (713) 898-0125 for more information or to meet this sweet boy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucky, a Friendswood Treeing Walker Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Treeing Walker Coonhound for sale in Friendswood, or seeking a Treeing Walker Coonhound dog from a breeder in Friendswood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Friendswood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Friendswood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Treeing Walker Coonhound breeders who help with Treeing Walker Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Friendswood paves the way for another one to be saved.
