Angel is a growing, lightly marked white harlequin female with natural ears. She is deaf and may have some sight impairment but doesn’t let that slow her down. Her birthday is February 28, 2016.

She is a quirky, cute girl with LOTS of personality – you would almost never know she was hearing impaired! Angel loves to play with her foster siblings and can be a little rambunctious. Angel has lots of puppy energy and loves to eat play and sleep.

Angel is crate trained. She stays in her crate during the day when her foster mom goes to work, and she gets a break at lunchtime. At night, Angel knows it is bedtime and goes to her crate when her foster brother goes to his crate next to hers and she will stay in her crate overnight. Although she is potty trained, she still cannot be fully trusted unattended in the house when no one is home.

Angel loves to follow her foster mom around, she is learning some sign language but doesn’t have much training. Angel has learned “sit” with treats and watching foster siblings and “no” is wagging a finger in front of her face. She walks on a leash but likes to follow her foster siblings and pulls a lot wanting to sniff the ground – this is something she is working on.

Angel is a little shy when you first meet her, but then she warms up she is a very loving puppy. Angel is great with other dogs and cats, but does chase the cat some. She would do well in a family with another hearing dog and a family willing to put in extra training and patience needed to work with an active deaf puppy!
