Meet Miss Jenger (pronounced Ginger). This little 35 pound bundle of energy is a 6 month old (as of 8-4-16) black mouth cur mix pup. Jenger is all about fun and games – and toys. This puppy loves toys. She also loves to run, run run, so a home with an active family will be perfect for this adorable girl. With her high energy level, a home with older children is preferred. Jenger would love to be with a family that likes to hike. She could hike all day and never get tired!

Jenger is being leash-trained and doing very well. She is also in the process of being crate-trained and house-trained. She loves everyone – people, children, other dogs and was exposed to cats before she joined out foster program. There are no cats in her current home.

Jenger is full of joy and puppy antics. She will do best with experienced dog owners and should go to puppy classes and basic obedience training. She would certainly be the star of the class.

If Jenger looks like your kind of puppy, email warmhearts@earthlink.net for an application. That is the first step in the process. Jenger is completely vetted and micro chipped. Her adoption/vetting fee is $150.00.

About Warm Hearts Humane Society, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a local humane society dedicated to ending the homeless pet problems in our county and to help our county become a role model for how rural communities can care for animals humanely.

We provide low-cost spay and neuter vouchers to county residents who cannot afford to have their pets fixed.

We have several feral cat colonies that we have worked out a trap and return policy on. These cats have all been fixed and are fed and cared for by residents in the community.

Our Adoption Process...

Warm Hearts animals are not adopted on a first-come, first-serve basis. We require an adoption application and vet references. Interviews are conducted to make sure that the animal is a good fit for the family. Our adoption fees help cover our vet and day-to-day costs of animal care.
