Ava's Story...
*** COURTESY POST - Please contact Booch0517@aol.com ***
This is Ava, She is a 4 month old cutey patooty who is looking for her forever home. We believe Ava has had a tough life so far and is loving her freedom and exploring her new surroundings. She is currently in a foster home with other dogs (Please see note below), cats and kids. She is typical puppy and like all puppies, she would thrive with puppy training. She is going to make 1 family very happy! Ava will be spayed, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped prior to adoption. If you are interested in obtaining an application, please contact Booch0517@aol.com.

PLEASE NOTE:
Due to the possibility of issues developing between 2 females with this breed, I believe it is best to adopt out to a male/female household.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ava, a Winsted American Staffordshire Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Winsted, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier puppy from a breeder in Winsted.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winsted already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winsted breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winsted paves the way for another one to be saved.
