Radar's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Radar is a 12-15 month old Pharaoh Hound mix (terrier we are told) that was transferred to us from flooded Louisiana. He is very active and loves to play with everyone and everything. Radar does need training to learn his manners and to walk on a leash. We do not know anything of his history or medical except he was treated for heartworm and is negative. He is good with other dogs but can be a little overwhelming for the less active dog! He is curious about cats but doesn't hurt them at all and he is good around older kids. He is probably too active to be around small children, so we recommend older kids only. Radar needs a family that will train him and keep him active, as well as make him feel secure and loved!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Radar, a Clifton Pharaoh Hound/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pharaoh Hound/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Clifton, or seeking a Pharaoh Hound/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Clifton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Clifton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Clifton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pharaoh Hound/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Pharaoh Hound/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Clifton paves the way for another one to be saved.
