Lauren's Story...
Lauren is a 2 year old Dalmatian mix. When we arrived to rescue her foster brother, Bogart, we knew that we could not leave this sweet girl behind. She was the shelter administrator’s favorite, so we knew that he was overjoyed knowing that she was safe. Lauren weighs 46 pounds and is a total love bug. She loves to play with her foster siblings, snuggle with her foster Mom, chew on her Nylabones, and treats! Lauren is an extremely well behaved young Lady. She is crate trained, house broken, walks well on a leash, and rides in the car comfortably. She also gets along great with Kitties and is fully vetted. If you see that Lauren would make a wonderful addition to your family, please contact BCRR!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lauren, a Allen Dalmatian/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dalmatian/Border Collie for sale in Allen, or seeking a Dalmatian/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Allen.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allen already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allen breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dalmatian/Border Collie breeders who help with Dalmatian/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allen paves the way for another one to be saved.
