My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mavis is a female beagle/basset mix estimated to be 5 to 6 yrs old. She is a small girl (around 35 lbs) and has a beautiful reddish colored coat. She is a very sweet girl who bonds quickly with her humans and loves attention. She needs a quiet home because she is a little shy and she doesn’t like a lot of loud noises. She is a very mellow girl and enjoys lying on a doggie bed or playing with some toys. She is crate trained and an airport crate works best for her. She does get along with other dogs and likes to play and romp with them. She really would like to have another doggie companion in the household to make her feel secure and confident.

Adoption events are every Saturday, excluding holidays, at the Petco located at 11331 W. Broad Street, Glen Allen, VA (next to Trader Joe’s) from 11:00am to 2:00pm.
