Ruger's Story...
Hello! My name is Ruger and I am a stunning, 2-year-old, blue male Weim with a strong personality. And just like my name would indicate, I am somewhat of a pistol!! I am a high-energy young boy that is search of a home with a lot of structure and boundaries that will reinforce manners and obedience which I currently only adhere to on my own terms!

I am very athletic, super smart and very strong willed, but I do also want to please my humans. I get along great with other dogs and I would do best in a home where I will get a lot of exercise, with only adults or at least one with older kids who have Weim experience because I am larger and very strong. A quieter neighborhood is better for me as well. I am crate trained but may also be fine free-roaming with another dog in the house. I love to go running and in my downtown I am snuggle bug. What I really need is a family that understands Weims and can help me be my best me! Is that that you? I am located in Wet Olive, MI.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ruger, a Grand Haven Weimaraner dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner for sale in Grand Haven, or seeking a Weimaraner dog from a breeder in Grand Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner breeders who help with Weimaraner rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
