CHARMING CHARLIE - 7 YO LAB POINTER MIX FOR LOVING ADULTS ONLY HOME - REDWOOD CITY CA - ALL SUPPLIES INCLUDED

Hi, My name is Charlie!

REQUEST TO MEET CHARLIE HERE!
http://findmypetahome.com/charlie/<./a>
There is a $75 adoption/rehoming fee. All supplies will be included.

I’m the dog who put the “D” in devoted! If you are looking for true blue best friend, let me show you the meaning of unconditional love.

I am a very handsome, smart and obedient Labrador Retriever / Pointer mix. I am just 7 years old and very healthy. I have been neutered, fully vaccinated and micro-chipped. I weigh 50 pounds. I am also crate trained and perfectly house broken.

I have a gorgeous smooth chocolate colored coat with cute spotted white chest and front paw. I am definitely one of nature’s designer dogs. If you look closely, you will see that I actually have markings in the shape of the map of Italy on my chest.

My idea of the perfect day would be spent enjoying the great outdoors with my favorite human. I love going hiking and swimming. I love the fresh country air.

My owners love me so much. They adopted me from a shelter, and have been so great to me. I’ve had a great life with them, and they have given me lots of training and plenty of love and companionship. They are devastated to have to find me a good home.

Recently, they welcomed a new baby into our home. For some reason, the baby (and her nanny) cause me a lot of anxiety, and I bark at them all the time. They consulted with a dog behaviorist, and were told that it would be best to find me an adults only home, where I won’t be around babies and small children.

The perfect home for me would be in a rural setting. I feel so calm and happy when I am not distracted by all the noise and strangers coming and going in the city. I would so love to find one or two adults who will cherish me, take me on my beloved hikes, and keep me safe, happy and healthy.

I am a really good dog and deserve a good home. I love snuggling, and I am good with cats and other dogs (as long as they like me). I would make a great ranch or farm hand, and will definitely do my part as canine security.

Please offer me a safe, happy and healthy home today. I can’t wait to show you what a great boy I am.

Love and licks,

Charlie

About San Francisco Find My Pet A Home

About Our Rescue Group...

In many locations throughout the USA and Canada, shelters are rescues are filled to capacity, leaving pet owners who can no longer care for their pet with nowhere to turn. Many pets are needlessly being euthanized.

Being placed in a shelter is a very stressful experience for all pets - and their owners. We offer a very good alternative, allowing pets to stay in the loving care of their owners while a new home is located for them.

We have helped many pet owners in need to place their pet in a home where they have great peace of mind in knowing that their pet is being cherished, well cared for and kept safe, happy and healthy.

Come Meet Our Pets...

In most instances, our pets stay with their owners until a new home can be located. There are some situations which require a more urgent placement, and in these instances, we look for loving foster homes to care for these pets until a permanent home can be located.

Pets available for adoption can be viewed on our website at http://findmypetahome.com/san-francisco-pet-rehoming-service/

Our Adoption Process...

When a pet is placed with our organization, our staff create a very honest and compelling adoption story about the pet, using the information provided to us.

We then spread the word about this pet's need for a new home through a wide variety of online services, and through local outreach.

Interested parties are directed to fill out a formal request to meet a pet, providing in-depth information about themselves.

Before a potential adopter is introduced to a pet, we do careful reference screening and a criminal records check.

Should the pet's owner and the adoptive party agree to an adoption, a formal agreement is entered into, requiring the new owner to agree to keep in touch, ensure the pet's physical and emotional well-being, and provide a safe, happy and healthy home.

They are required to agree that they will not surrender the pet to a shelter or give away the pet - but rather they are to contact our organization so that we can find another suitable home, in the event that they are unable to fulfill their commitment.

The owners deliver the pet to the new owners, so that they can do a home inspection prior to leaving the pet in the new owner's care.

Our organization provides follow-up services, contacting the new owners after the first week, and then every 45 days for the first nine months post-adoption. This helps ensure the pet is being well cared for, and that the new owners have any support they need in adjusting to life with their new companion,
