Meet Sarabi, a gorgeous, healthy 15-year-young female tabby. Sarabi was taken in by a guardian angel a year and a half ago, but since, this guardian has found that her other kitties pick on Sarabi and so she is forced to live a very lonely existence in a room all by herself. She is devastated to have to part with Sarabi but knows it's in Sarabi's best interest.

Sarabi is an indoor-only kitty with perfect house manners. She loves to sit in your lap or lay on your chest when you're in bed. She is an easy going girl who loves the simple things in life...catnip and a scratching post make her a very happy kitty.

Even at 15, Sarabi will still engage in a few minutes of play each day. She loves affection and purrs easily. Sarabi is also an avid bird watcher and will happily engage in said activity for hours....Her favorite treat is the little fish nibbles from Trader Joe's - they are a holistic cat treat that can be found in the pet food aisle.

Sarabi is generally a pretty quiet girl, but will meow to ask you for gentle petting.

Sarabi will be happiest in a quiet environment without other cats....she is okay with calm dogs and kids. She has mild feline hypothyroidism and her current guardian has generously offered to pay for her meds and vet visits for the rest of Sarabi's life.

Sarabi is looking for a home as soon as possible given her guardian's situation. :(

Sarabi is considered a Courtesy Listing. We offer our services to help other responsible rescue groups or individuals find good homes for cats in need. We have screened and interviewed each of the individuals before agreeing to post their cats.

About Jake's Place Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

The volunteers at Jake's Place are diverse group of dedicated animal lovers. Some of us have worked in rescue before, some are new to it. Some of us have known each other for years, others more recently involved. Having all come together in the last few years and finding that we had the same passion to help cats, we started thinking about the possibilities of putting our various expertise to work in creating something wonderful. While Jake's Place is a relatively new organization, our work goes back 14 years and our energy and drive is stronger than ever. We are committed to rescuing responsibly, fostering in loving & caring homes and finding the best possible forever homes.
