Charlie's Story...
Meet Charlie

Up for adoption: Charlie. What a handsome boy!

He can be adopted in Texas and New England.

Charlie is 2-3 yrs old. About 80lbs. He loves loves loves the water and loves his toys. He's pretty good with other dogs and loves people. We think he'd be okay with older kids due to his size and he's still a young adult. He LOVES watching TV. He has his favorite shows and can lounge around for hours watching the tube.

Holiday fireworks didn't faze him either !

He's neutered, fully vaccinated, house broken, kennel trained and microchipped. Apply at www.luckylabrescue.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie, a Brattleboro Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
