TEDDY & CANDY's Story...
Teddy and Candy are a bonded sibling pair. They are three years old, 50lbs, golden retriever/shepherd mixes. Teddy and Candy are lovable and playful. They love to go on walks, have lots of energy and love to run around and play with each other in the back yard. They love to cuddle, give kisses and are very affectionate. They are healthy, house trained, neutered, spayed, current on all vaccines, and microchipped.
We are dedicated to saving abandoned, neglected and abused dogs in Los Angeles and surrounding areas. Whenever possible when we have space and funds, we take dogs out of the city and county shelters who are on "death row" and are about to be euthanized.
Come Meet Our Pets...
Normally all our dogs are seen by appointment only.
Our Adoption Process...
An adoption application must be filled out prior to meeting any of our dogs. Please call or e-mail us for an application. An adoption contract will be signed, a home check will be done, and a donation is required upon adoption and placement of the dog. Our adoptions are only open to Southern California residents. We do not adopt our dogs to households with children under 10 years old. There is NO guarantee made, express or implied, that any person requesting to adopt a dog through DRD Rescue, will automatically be approved. All adoptions are subject to acceptance based on a review process that requires collecting information and visiting the applicant's home. Decisions on placing dogs in adoptive and foster homes are based solely on the judgment of DRD Rescue’s volunteers and coordinators, and adoption applications may be denied for various reasons. DRD Rescue reserves the right to refuse to adopt to anyone without disclosing the reasons, and to make all decisions regarding placement or final disposition of any rescued dog in its care whether in, or being placed in, a foster or adoptive home.
