Simba's Story...
Hey guys! I'm 3 years old and I'm a happy boy! I like dogs and cats and people too! I like to protect my home so I need peeps who will make me feel safe and loved so I don't feel like I have to be in charge. I'm 80 pounds of meatball so I would do best with older or dog savvy kids but I'm really just a gentle giant! Can you give me a place to crash? I'd love to hike, train, snuggle, and be your bestie. If you have a place for me, Email caredogvolunteers@gmail.com and tell them you think I'm handsome and want to take me home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Simba, a Acushnet Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Acushnet, or seeking a Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Acushnet.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Acushnet already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Acushnet breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Acushnet paves the way for another one to be saved.
