This stunning, purebred Malamute came to us from Pittsburgh, CA. Sadly, his owner lost his housing and could no longer care for his two dogs (Tonka and Nikka).
Even though they just arrived to our shelter recently, Tonka and Nikka are already staff and volunteer favorites. They are very sweet and affectionate for northern breed dogs. They enjoy meeting new people and love all the attention they get here.
We are still getting to know Tonka and Nikka so we aren't sure how they do with other dogs or young children. As most Malamutes, they have a high prey drive and should not live with cats or small animals under 25 pounds.
The adoption fee for Tonka and Nikka is $600 each. The fee includes their Rabies, Microchip, DA2PP, Bordatella, and spay/neuter surgery. Due to their large size they will need experienced adopters.
Please visit our website and submit an adoption application if you'd like to meet either Tonka or Nikka!
