Ziggy is a 3 year old rat terrier mix that was surrendered to Proverbs. She weighs about 8lbs and is fully vetted.
Ziggy is timid but when you pick her up she will nuzzle her face into your neck/shoulder. She seems to enjoy being held and sitting in your lap. She is good in using the pee pads to potty. She is currently in a foster home with 2 other small dogs and gets along with them. She would do better in a home with other dogs. She will do well with another small confident dog that can help her with her shyness or as an only dog where she can receive lots of TLC.
We don't believe Ziggy has been taught to walk on a leash as she seems uncertain what to do when a leash is put on her. However, we feel with more experience she will soon learn to be comfortable on a leash.
