Tamara's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Tamara's Story...
Tamara is a 4-5 year old female chihuahua. Her human Mom passed away and Tamara is looking for her new person to bond to, to love and to go everywhere with! She is quite happy being home, sitting in your lap but she is also quick to want to go out. She does great on a leash and loves to ride in the car. She's great meeting people and dogs but would do better living in a quiet home with no other animals and no children. Basically, if you want to stay home, she is fine with that and if you want to go, she is fine with that. She just wants to be with her human and do what the human wants to do! Are you looking for a companion to be by your side? Then Tamara is your girl!

Tamara is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped. She is fostered in Huntsville, AL but not picky about where she ends up as long as she is loved. To learn about our adoption process, email or apply directly at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tamara, a Chattanooga Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Chattanooga, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Chattanooga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chattanooga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chattanooga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chattanooga paves the way for another one to be saved.
