Hi. My name is Mystique! Please excuse my kennel behavior! Once I am out in the yard, I am very friendly and playful. Please ask one of the staff members to come take me out of my kennel so you can meet the real me! Previously, I lived with other adults and will get along nicely with older children. I love getting tummy scratches and running around the yard. I can run really fast! I am already house trained and know some basic commands. I am calm and well-behaved in the car too. I really want to learn more from my new owner who has owned pit bulls before or has some dog experience. Ask to meet Mystique today to see my awesome personality for yourself!

About North Bay Canine Rescue & Placement

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of people dedicated to rescuing dogs from crisis situations, some of which include euthanasia by animal shelters, neglect and other forms of abuse, or "free to a good home" ads, which result in dogs being bounced from one home to another, or being acquired by animal brokers ("bunchers") and sold to research laboratories where they are used for testing then discarded ("cruelty industries").

NBCR&P works primarily with 5 herding breeds, and herding breed mixes. On occasion, NBCR&P also rescues and places other breeds. We foster our dogs in a home environment, rather than a kennel, if at all possible. We take pride in our promise that at any time and for any reason in the dog's life, if the need arises, he or she has a safe place with us ("return to rescue" policy).
