Louie and Princess are two of the happiest little dogs you will ever meet! They have been together their entire lives, and we are looking for an active retirement home that will take them together! Both Louie and Princess LOVE cats, and Louie has been known to bath his cat when given the chance!
As you can probably tell from the pictures, Louie and Princess are quite a bit overweight. We have started them on a weight loss dog food, and as they begin to shed pounds, we will be encouraging them to run around and get more exercise. Princess is the white and black lady, and she weighed in at 19 pounds at the vet, while Louie came in at 16 pounds. It is important that her adopters commit to helping them gradually lose weight so that they may have a much better quality of life as they get older.
Princess is about 7 years old, and is as sweet as candy. She always seems to be smiling and loves to be carried around and loved.
Louie is about 10 years old, and he is very active and sweet. While he doesn't like to be manhandled or carried, he LOVES hopping up on the couch and snuggling with his people.
Louie and Princess are a combination of pee pad and outdoor trained. They have not had any accidents in their foster home. They get along wonderfully with people, dogs and cats. They are up to date on shots, spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on heartworm and flea/tick preventative.

Louie and Princess are being fostered in Worcester, MA.
The adoption fee is $200 for the two of them together.

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
