FRANKIE's Story...
My name is Frankie and I am so grateful to have found a safe place to land. I was hit by a car and taken to the local shelter. Unfortunately my family never found me, but I did manage to escape this event with just minor abrasions. I am an easy dog, that's what I keep hearing these nice people say. I am fully house trained, walk like a pro on a leash and get along wonderfully with both cats and dogs (of all sizes). I am hoping for a home of my own, one where I can spend each day cuddling with my people and definitely getting some "walkies" in. I do startle a bit more than some, but that just means I'd do best in a mellow environment that doesn't have a lot of chaos, probably with only much older kids. Please consider meeting me!
*Frankie will be neutered prior to adoption finalization*

Why Adoption is a Great Option

FRANKIE, a Denver Rat Terrier/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in Denver, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
