We would to like to introduce you to Cappy. He is a neutered Pit bull Terrier that is approximately 2 years old. He will be microchipped at the time of adoption. Cappy was found in serious condition by a kind citizen near Lockeford about 1 year ago. He had severe bite injuries from either a coyote or another dog. He was not microchipped and we were unable to locate his owner. Cappy has since fully healed and is doing great. He loves going on walks or runs and is leash trained. He loves to play with the ball and Frisbee, and also his Kong toy. He is slightly near sighted so he listens for the ball to hit the ground, then runs after it and brings it back. Cappy knows his basic commands like No, Sit, and Shake. He is heartworm negative and current on all vaccines and flea prevention. Cappy has had very limited exposure to cats and we are unsure how he feels about them. We are hoping to test him with other dogs soon. He seems to do fine with older kids, so he doesn’t knock them down. Cappy is a very nice dog who loves people and would love to have room to run even more. He will make a wonderful companion for someone in a forever home.
