This is Chewie-a lovable, Chow mix. Up until now, Chewie has not had the best life. He lived on a chain 24 seven and his "owners" spent little time with him. Caring neighbors would always go by and make certain he did have food and shelter. The owners lost their job and decided they could no longer keep him and one of our foster homes took him in. After some much needed vet care, Chewie is now healthy and ready to be adopted. Chewie is very happy to be living free of restraints and is very friendly and outgoing. Our foster home is slowly introducing him to other dogs-so far, he seems fine. We hope someone will give this big, sweet boy the forever home he deserves. Chewie is current on shots, neutered, crate trained and on heartworm prevention. You may submit an adoption application online at www.myhstc.org. For specific pet related questions, please email his foster mom Kim at firstname.lastname@example.org
