Trace's Story...
Meet Trace! This bouncy 8 month old red boy is full of vim and vigor just like any doberpup! He has easily transitioned into foster care and has become his dobersister's little shadow. Trace gets along nicely with other dogs and might be okay with a dog savvy cat. He will need a "puppy safe" home that can provide daily exercise along with calm, consistent expectations. Typical for his age, Trace will quickly destuff, shred, and sometimes eat stuffed toys and yep, throw pillows too! He is more than willing to chew on more appropriate items such as chew bones and Kongs when encouraged to do so. He is eager to please and a quick learner, already sitting nicely and waiting patiently at feeding time. He can be a little unsure of new people and dogs so will need plenty of socialization to become a confident adult. If you are looking for a young Dobe to become an active and fun part of the family, Trace is your boy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trace, a Columbus Doberman Pinscher puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher puppy from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
