Bliss's Story...
Meet BLISS! This moo cow came to us with 5 of her puppies, who have almost all been adopted, and recently came back from foster. She came to us incredibly skinny, but is improving every day. She would love a home that could help her get to a good weight and spoil her to pieces. She is sweet, loves everyone she meets and walks well on leash. We will let you know Bliss is now available and able to have applications submitted once you've met. For more information or inquires about meeting Bliss, please give us a call at (302) 571-0111 or visit us at our center (701 A Street Wilmington, DE) Tuesday-Friday 12-7pm or Saturday & Sunday 12-5pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bliss, a Wilmington Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Wilmington, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Wilmington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wilmington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wilmington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wilmington paves the way for another one to be saved.
