Katie is a very sweet girl, and once she warms up, she gives lots of kisses. She is a little shy, but with love and patience, she will come out of her shell. She is curious about her surroundings, and likes to check things out, in a polite way. Katie walks well on a leash. She has excellent manners passing other dogs and humans. In the home, she gets along well with her foster siblings and shows no interest in the cats or turtle. She likes to be with people, and she will need to be a part of the family. Katie is working on learning how to play, she is unsure of what balls and toys are. She is also working on basic commands. She loves Whimzees and salmon strips, and almost any other treat. She will be a great best friend for someone.
Katie has recently been rescued from Cleburne shelter. She has a great foster home to show her the fun things she can do. She is a young adult.
Her adoption includes age appropriate vaccinations, worming, rabies vaccination, heartworm test (dogs over 6 months), spay, and microchip including registration.
