My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Calling all Aussie lovers! If you have been waiting for Mr.Right your wait is over!

We have a dreamboat, called Max, looking for a forever home to call his own.

Max is a one year old boy (birthday is August 8, 2015), Black-Tri with a natural bob tail and weighing 50 pounds. He was shaved ,before coming into CARS, but his coat is coming in gorgeously (so soft and full)!

Max is all about speed friending (like speed dating) when he goes out. Foster mom says it goes like this "Hey I'm Max wanna play? You can smell my butt I don't care? Wanna play? Gotta go...Bye!". Human speaks to him 'Hi Hi Hi so I'm Max and wait please don't stop touching me. I'm Max and I ohhh gotta go now. Bye!"

This boy is adorable, enjoys training time, loves other dogs, ok with cats, playful, fun, walks well on a leash, house-trained, crate trained, likes snuggles with his person and he is a happy boy.

Max knows his basic commands, cue for crate, recall is great and he is eager to keep learning. Max will also sleep through the night in his crate, only to wake up when you do!  He has been tested out of the crate (several times) while foster mom left for short errands (increasing time gone with each test) and Max did great!

This sweet boy loves having a canine companion around his age/energy to play with, loves playing with toys and bouncy balls, going on adventures, car rides, meeting new people and having a best friend to share all the wondrous things in life with! He is also an excellent tree stick picker upper.

Max is medium to high energy and will need someone who enjoys actives as much as he does. Or at least have a canine close to his age and play speed.

Max needs a fenced yard for not only is he a super sociable boy but he needs to keep your yard clear of any woodland creatures. No apartments will be considered for Max.

Max is neutered, micro-chipped, up to date on his Bordetella, Distemper and Rabies. Max has been tested for Heartworms, Ehrlichiosis and Lyme Disease (all negative). Max was also fecal tested for parasites including Giardiasis and Coccidiosis (all negative). Max takes monthly preventatives of Heartgard and Frontline.
*The medical care above is practice standard of Central Aussie Rescue and Support. We truly care about all of our foster Aussies and Aussie Mixes!
