Meet Bourbon! He is a gentleman and a scholar to say the least. Bourbon came to The Pet Rescue Center after coming into the shelter as a stray. When no one came to claim him we stepped up to bring this sweet boy back to our rescue. Bourbon has been nothing short of amazing since coming to The Pet Rescue Center. He walks great on leash, loves playing with other dogs and has not met a person he does not love. Do you like to snuggle? So does he! We can't imagine why anyone would give him up but are happy to be giving him another chance to find a forever home. We are pretty sure Bourbon is a good mix between a Chihuahua and possible a Min Pin and is about 3-4 years old.
ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Our mission is to save the lives of dogs and cats at risk of euthanasia. The Pet Rescue Center is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
