This happy face belongs to Butch, whose easygoing personality has helped him adjust well to life without the only owner he has ever known, a senior who is not well and unable to return to his farm. Butch is a mix of German Shepherd and Husky estimated to be around 8 years of age. Although he was much loved, too many treats under the table and not enough walks have left Butch a little chubby, but he is doing well on his new regime. Butch is clean in the house, enjoys getting brushed, and is good with other dogs. He will bark to let you know someone is in the driveway but not for long. Butch will make an excellent companion for an adopter living either in the country or in a semi-rural environment. A fenced area with a walk or two a day, good companionship, and a quality diet would make Butch very happy. Are you the one who can fulfill his needs and give him a forever home for his golden years? Please complete an adoption questionnaire on our website if Butch sounds like the laidback companion you’ve been hoping to adopt.
