Gentle, Graceful, Old Soul
Zelda is a young, beautiful Siamese snowshoe with bright blue eyes and a calm, zen-like demeanor that's perfect for a harmonious household. As a new mama who recently welcomed five kittens, she's focused on resting and caring for her brood. Once they are adopted, her foster family suspects she'll be more playful and just as sweet!
Zelda is quick to curl up next to you and purr affectionately when petted and responds with a melodic meow to your voice at dinnertime. She is social and likes to be around you, and doesn't mind being gently picked up and held.
Zelda has sniffed noses with the adult cat in her foster home, but she also growled at him - we suspect that was because she was protecting her kittens. For the same reason, Zelda has been bold enough to swat at the resident large dog when he got too close to her kittens; and then, she will rub against him and purr! Once she is done being on Mom Duty 24/7, we think she would be a fine companion for a respectful, easygoing, calm feline and/or canine!
Zelda prefers careful movements and a low-key environment, so she wouldn't be the best fit for a family with kiddos. She likes to explore her space and find new places to nap. She would be an ideal pet for a single person or couple who can provide a tranquil space.
