Nate's Story...
My name is Nate and I am a 6 month old Lab Mix who weighs 41 pounds. My favorite thing to do is run in the yard and chase tennis balls. But sometimes I take a break and help my humans by collecting all of the sticks and leaves in the yard. What can I say, I'm a nice guy. When I come back inside I enjoy sitting on my humans lap for a snuggle and to warm up. After that it is back to chewing on my bones and play tug with the other dogs. It's a rough life, but someone has to do it. I am crate trained, know how to sit, drop a toy when asked, and come when called. Staying has been a bit of a challenge, I love my humans and just want to follow them everywhere. I am fixed, housebroken and ring a bell to let everyone know when I have to go. Currently I am up to date on all of my shots and I'm being fostered in Red Lion PA. So if you are looking for a hard working, sweet guy, then look no further!

We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $275 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $325 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nate, a New Oxford Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in New Oxford, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in New Oxford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Oxford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Oxford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Oxford paves the way for another one to be saved.
