Liam's Story...
Friendly Friendly Friendly! Love people and other dogs even the unfriendly ones! I have become REALLY GOOD, approaching greatness on leash. Being young I like to chew my toys still. Those rope toys are so fun to chase and fetch. Learning drop and give commands so you can throw it again. I would love to live where another dog about my size and I can play together and keep each other company. I can hold my pee a LONG time! At first I didn't like my crate. But now I go in on my own and sleep there with the door open. Prefer a sofa so I hope my forever family lets me join them on theirs. I'm a snuggler. My foster says I am the sweetest most affectionate dog she's cared for! When we walk and a car approaches I step on the grass and wait till it passes. But i think I would be a great companion on long walks and jogging! My foster has not heard me growl because I am so easygoing!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Liam, a Houston Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Houston, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
